Tetris (2023)

Henk Rogers, an American in Tokyo, owns a small game developing company with his wife. After coming across a demo of Tetris at a convention, he decides to pursue the licensing rights, which is difficult for a couple of reasons. First: the game's creator is Russian and communism demands that all profits belong to the state. Second: some rights have already been secured by another company which isn't keen on sharing handheld (of particular value ahead of the Gameboy's release). Henk, however, is not easily dissuaded.

Quite a fun caper with a charming performance by Taron Egerton as Henk. I'm not sure how much of this is actually true, but it's a really good time!
