Closer (2004)
I deliberately waited a full day before writing down my thoughts about this film because I needed some "processing" time.
Sitting in the dark theater, there were moments when I was just hating the movie…it seemed so needlessly hurtful. But, when I was able to stand back from the film as a whole -- reflect on the totality and truthfulness of the story -- I was just wowed. I'm still wowed.
