Tallulah (2016)

Talullah a free-spirit who lives in her van and dumpster dives for meals, but her boyfriend has had enough of it. Lu heads to New York to find him and, while stealing leftover room service off of trays in a hotel hall, is mistaken for housekeeping and pressed into babysitting service by a very rich, sad, mother of a two-year-old. Before she’s thought it through, Tallulah has abducted the child (which is an act of mercy, IMO) and talked her way into her boyfriend’s mother’s apartment for the night.

There's definitely a lot going on here, but it’s also weirdly believable and lovely. I liked it way more than I ever expected to.
