Counter Investigation (2007)

After the suspected killer of a detective’s daughter is quickly arrested and convicted, he begins a correspondence with the detective, which leads to the reopening of the case.

This was a very tight movie -- not even 90 minutes -- and it did a good job of pulling the rug. Fantastic performances.
