21 Grams (2003)

A difficult-to-watch, powerful movie was shot. Then the director chopped it into 30 - 120 second segments. Then he tossed them in the air like confetti. Then he stuck them back together however they landed. Then he named it "21 Grams" and it was hailed as not only difficult-to-watch and powerful...but ART, too!

My question is: why?
