Summer Stock (1950)

Just an excuse for a bunch of musical numbers -- too bad it's really not worth it. Garland and Kelly are no Astaire and Rogers. There's no life…no spark…and, despite the fact that Gene's 10 years older than Garland, it looks the other way around throughout the film...as though a housewife is falling for a college kid.
