The Last Five Years (2015)

This reminded me a lot of 500 Days of summer in that it was a love/break-up story told non-linearly. The differences are that this one is nearly through-sung (loved that) and neither half of the couple is particularly likable (didn’t love that).

There are several amazing tracks -- “I’m a Part of That” particularly stirred me -- but there were also a couple that either went on too long or were just a bit generic. On the whole, though? Lovely.
