All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)

Fresh-faced excited German students enlist and head to the front and quickly discover war is not in any way romantic. Though it does a good job of showing the banality and brutality of being a soldier in wartime, it doesn't do a better job than dozens of films that have gone before.

Also, the soundtrack was ridiculously distracting.
