The Barbarian Invasions (2003)

Let me just get this out of the way first: the son looks like a cross between Guy Pearce and Kevin Spacey.

Alright - now on the movie itself...in a word: terrific. So many levels going on here and done so well, but without being self-conscious about what they're doing. Some of the scenes are so exquisite that they nearly stand alone.
